Screw This

I know no-one on the whole goddam planet is reading this thing, but I'd like to make it official. Inverse Poncho is over, I've given up, cos I'm lazy. The very mild effort required to update a comic with any form of regularity or consitency is to much for my puny mind, so, screw it. (The reason I haven't update for a fortnight is, as I said, cos I was in holiday, but I basically can't be bothered to start updating again.)

One Small Step for Troll, One Giant Hoppity For Trollkind

So, today's comic has colour. Not particularly good colour, I admit, but I feel it's a step forward for the comic, albeit a clumsy one. Hopefully I will, somehow, be able to obtain some sort of graphics tablet at some point in the future, which will improve things a little. The colouring isn't too difficult with a mouse, but the outlines are, so there sort of wonky.
I also did a colour version of the last strip, which you can see in the archives (here).
And, yet again, they are both too frikking big. I am really going to have to work on that...

Posty Post Post Post

Fear the news post.

Comic.
Image too big, as usual. Vauge SoaD reference. Blah blah blah.

I don't even know why this is a filler. I just got mixed up with the schedule, and thought I needed one, only to relise that I probably didn't. Oh well. No big deal.

Blah Blah Blah

Blah. Blah blah blah. Blah. Blah.
The Commissionathlon started. You get to so O drawing, albeit on a infrequently refreshing webcam. Better than nothing, though.
And, for future reference, comic. Too big, yet again.

A Testament to My Undying Stupidity

So, for once, I was way ahead of my update- I had this comic finished on wednesday night, and I've already got the next comic drawn out, waiting for editing. But, as it turns out, I forget to upload the damn thing until ten to one on saturday morning, making this update a day late. Which isn't that big a deal, really, but it just seems weird...
Anyway, the reason I managed to get it done early is because I have very little work to do. Due to the screwy Scottish school system, I actually have to come back for three weeks before summer, even though very little work is done (would have been four weeks, but they screwd out organising everyone's timetables), which gives me a fair bit of free time, so updates shouldn't be a problem. Same applies to summer- I should be able to get quite a bit done then, and could put myself a few weeks ahead of schdule. I'll be in France for the first two weeks of July, though, so no updates (wow, I bet my legions of fnas are howling and tearing their hair out over that dire proclamation), but the rest of the holidays should put me in the clear until sometime in September.
Updates really shouldn't be a problem, though- if Ian McConville could manage to meet his update schedule for the ultra-genius that is Mac Hall through four years of college, I can certainly manage to update this piece of crap on a semi-regular basis.

If Anyone Was Reading This, I'd Apologise

Basically, this strip was rushed, in more or less every conceivable way. Partly it's cos I've been a little bus lately, mostly cos I sort of forget. Not a good start to a comic...
Well, anywhichways, I'm looking into getting a low-end graphics tablet (you can get some small A6 ones for around £40... or some number of dollars, I don't know...), but it'll be a while before I can ever get hold of one. A while as in months. But, if I eventually do get one, the quality of this comic should be greatly increased, aided by the strangely named, but free, software, "The Gimp".
So, come November, this comic may be worth reading. I'd say "fingers crossed", but that sounds so pathetically dorky, even for me...

And So It Continues...

I ahve no idea what this comic has to do with anything... I just neede something I could do quickly and not have to worry much about how the characters looked. Which is totally unproffessional, I know, but it's not like I am professional. Or like anyone's reading this...

Yay! Second Post!

So, I've managed to actually meet my first update. Huzzah! Unfortuanately, I'm still working on all the pre-made templates, which I'll eventually use to make the comics, so for a whiel you'll be stuck with my hand-drawn, badly processed stuff.
My main problem seems to be consistency- I keep screwing up how the charcaters look from caption to caption. THat's why I switch angles a lot- it hides the flaws a litte. Problem is, it also makes it harder to stay consistent, which sort of cancels out the benefit. It's still more fun to draw that way, though, so I'll stick with it.
